in 2010 i took over 25,000 photos. from new orleans to alaska to montreal and west virginia. you’ll see beer and prayer, and everything in between. from individual portraits to crowds of people. rockers, rappers, worshipers and a dog. these are my favorite photos from 2010 and i hope you enjoy them. if not, that’s ok. they are what i saw, what i loved, and what i shot. here is some technical stuff for those of you who care: every photo was taken with my canon 5D mkII with one of the following lenses: 16-35L 2.8, 24-70L 2.8, 50 1.4, 24 3.5 tilt shift, or a 70-200L 2.8. mostly all on manual ranging from iso 100-6400, an aperture of anywhere between 1.4 – 22, and shutter speeds from 1000ths of a second to several seconds long.

jacob and cass are two of my closest friends. they are very comfortable having their picture taken and thus are very photogenic. it had almost been a week since my last shoot so i was long over do.

recently i found a place i thought would be sweet for a photoshoot. it turned out it was and here are a few of my favorites from my first shoot there. i also need to mention that this first image is untouched. i loved how it looked so much right from the camera i couldn’t bring myself to do anything to it.
