Hog Rally: Milwaukee, WI

This afternoon while on vacation, I checked out the 2010 Harley Davidson Owners Group. (H.O.G. Rally) It is held in Milwaukee, WI and there were estimated 40,000 Harley riders this weekend. I saw some BAD bikes and picked out a few that I would even love to own. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy. Alaska – First Approach

kevin and i met when we were kids. 10 or 11 years old i believe. so i’ve know him almost 20 years. he’s one of those friends that whether we lived in the same apartment and hung out daily OR lived on opposite sides of the earth and only talked over the computer once or twice a year, things were still the same. currently kevin’s a pilot/airplane/helicopter mechanic which is what brought him to the beautiful state of alaska. while working in the philippines kevin met a beautiful girl name mickey and they decided to get married. so now i had two great reasons for going to alaska. 1 see kevin and alaska. and 2. to photograph their wedding. this first post is a group of shots from my first day sight seeing.

3 brown bears from a small airplane using my 70-200. p.s. down look through a zoom lens while flying in circles in a small plane. i almost puked.

these glacier chunks were actually huge. some of them were hundreds of feet out of the water. this is from a plane several thousand feet up.

here is a preview of the photoshoot i did with my wife kinsor. our first little girl is almost ready to be born. she so beautiful! i’ll post more later.

its been awhile since i’ve posted any photos that i’ve taken just for fun. i do that, you know. i take photos because its fun. people may think i’m weird when i pull my camera out at a meal. but, i enjoy the results, so, thats all that matters i guess. besides, if you’ve never been to golden harvest in Lansing, MI. its so tasty and unique. very much worth going to. i also took some shots of kinsor and’s gordon setter, java. enjoy. now, i’m going have breakfast and java (the liquid kind)

yesterday i finally got to sleep in my own bed! i was gone for 11 days and had a great time in florida (st. pete’s beach) and camping (p.j hoffmaster state park) I obviously took my camera and here are some of my highlights.
