yesterday, my friends ben & meghan got married! i had the honor of shooting their wedding and it was an awesome day! i’m excited to post more, but until then, here is a single preview.

in 2010 i took over 25,000 photos. from new orleans to alaska to montreal and west virginia. you’ll see beer and prayer, and everything in between. from individual portraits to crowds of people. rockers, rappers, worshipers and a dog. these are my favorite photos from 2010 and i hope you enjoy them. if not, that’s ok. they are what i saw, what i loved, and what i shot. here is some technical stuff for those of you who care: every photo was taken with my canon 5D mkII with one of the following lenses: 16-35L 2.8, 24-70L 2.8, 50 1.4, 24 3.5 tilt shift, or a 70-200L 2.8. mostly all on manual ranging from iso 100-6400, an aperture of anywhere between 1.4 – 22, and shutter speeds from 1000ths of a second to several seconds long.

this week has a-maz-za-zing. the weather has been like beautiful summer days, and i’ve had several great engagement sessions. beth and chaz were a blast, and we had fun at a deserted golf course and in old town. wish this weather would stick around!

this morning i met a super great family for a family photo shoot and 3 year photos for this cute little guy. we all had a great time.

so sunday evening i had an awesome time with summer and andy. we had a relaxed time taking their engagement photos. it was great getting to know them better and hearing about how last week they saved a women’s life who drove her car into a lake. i can only assume she was following the direction her GPS were giving her. (those of you who are office fans, like myself, will get that. those of you who are not. get watching! ) anyway…had a great time and look forward to their beautiful fall wedding!
